Nashville-based Thyme Care, which offers a value-based cancer care platform, is partnering with CenterWell Senior Primary Care and Conviva Senior Primary Care to provide cancer care support through senior-focused primary care providers.
Thyme Care, founded in 2020, offers an oncology-focused platform that provides 24/7 virtual care navigation.
Its offerings include Thyme Box, a care management platform that provides care navigation and oncology analytics, and Thyme Care Connect, which allows individuals to connect with support, track their symptoms and access educational content.
Through the partnership, primary care providers through CenterWell's locations in Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Nevada, Florida, Georgia and Texas will be able to offer access to Thyme's oncology-trained clinicians and personal navigation services.
Patients will also be able to receive support to help them manage their diagnosis and stay connected to their care team.
"Our primary care physicians build deep, trusted relationships with patients, which is the foundation for helping them live healthier, more fulfilling lives," Dr. Sanjay Shetty, president of CenterWell, said in a statement.
"With Thyme Care, we are extending that same level of compassionate, coordinated care to the cancer journey. Our patients benefit from an extra layer of support, and our physicians gain a specialized team focused on improving outcomes and easing the burden of cancer care."
